Creator of very nearly all of the primary canon in the Focal Comics universe —
the worlds, the cast, the lustre system and the rules underneath it. Author, designer,
teacher, and character creator: he writes the story, designs the cover, and builds the
site it all lives on. The games are his too — lead developer, designer, and mechanics
engineer on Multiversal: TCG and on the beat-’em-up that follows it,
The War for Primus.

At eighteen, entirely self-taught, he was made head of social media for a Hollywood
start-up. He decides what Focal puts out and where it lands, which makes him the reason
any of this reaches you at all.

Decades of customer service behind her, a long stretch of it at an airport — which
is where you learn to sort out a problem for somebody who is already having the worst day
of their week. Every email that comes in gets answered by her, personally: not a form, not
a ticket number, not a bot. She is also married to the man who writes all of this and sits
in the next room from him, so when an answer needs checking, it gets checked before it is
sent. We don’t have AI customer service. We have Liu.
