Characters who turn up across Focal without belonging to the Focal universe. They come out of other people’s stories — books on the hosted shelves, collaborations, guest appearances — and they are filed apart on purpose: no lustre, no place in the Focal realities, and no claim by us. Every one of them stays the property of the creator who made them, and is credited to that creator wherever they appear.
